In a recent development, Ismael Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ political bureau, has delivered a stern message to Western nations regarding their supportive stance towards the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

In a press release reported by “Quds Press” in the early hours of Tuesday, Haniyeh firmly stated that the West has tarnished its humanity record by endorsing what he referred to as a “genocidal war” in the Gaza Strip.

Haniyeh emphasized that the Western world has erected an insurmountable barrier between itself and the Arab and Islamic nations, which, in his view, will never crumble. Addressing the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries, he posed a poignant question, “How many more lives need to be sacrificed, and how many massacres must occur before you stand up for justice and against the atrocities committed against the innocent children, women, and elders of Gaza? And what will be the price for the martyrs paid so far?”

The Zionist occupation forces have persisted with relentless aerial bombardments for the 18th consecutive day, targeting various areas within the Gaza Strip. These attacks have led to the tragic loss of 110 Palestinian lives, including children and women, during the past night’s airstrikes, particularly in Khan Yunis and Rafah.

The onslaught by the Zionist aggressors has resulted in the complete destruction of entire neighborhoods and has claimed the lives of more than 5,000 Palestinians, among them 2,055 children and 1,119 women. Furthermore, it has left 15,273 individuals injured, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health. Additionally, an unspecified number of people remain missing beneath the rubble.

The situation in Gaza remains dire, with international attention turning towards finding a swift and just resolution to this ongoing crisis.
