As the conflict in Gaza enters its 37th day, Israeli forces have bombed a maternity hospital, resulting in the death of two doctors. Meanwhile, Israeli drones targeted the Al Shifa medical compound, and new airstrikes in residential areas of northern and southern Gaza have claimed over 20 lives.

On the ground, Palestinian resistance forces engaged with Israeli troops across various fronts in western Gaza City.

The humanitarian situation is deteriorating rapidly as more hospitals in Gaza, which have been under Israeli fire for days, cease operations. Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that an Israeli airstrike recently destroyed the cardiology department of the Al Shifa medical compound in northern Gaza.

The General Director of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza also stated that the compound was hit by a new Israeli strike. The intense Israeli bombardment continues across the Gaza Strip, targeting homes, civil, and health facilities, with an increasing focus on hospitals and their surroundings, especially the Al Shifa medical compound (the largest hospital in Gaza Strip), which, according to the Health Ministry spokesperson, has completely gone out of service. This adds to the list of non-operational facilities in northern Gaza, except for the limited-services Baptist hospital.
