Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, has begun an official visit to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, as directed by President Abdelmajid Tebboune.
In a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was revealed that this visit is part of the second session of the Algerian-British strategic dialogue. During the visit, discussions will revolve around enhancing bilateral relations encompassing security, politics, economy, and culture. Additionally, regional and international matters of mutual interest, such as developments in the Middle East and Africa, will be addressed.
The program of this visit includes numerous bilateral meetings with British officials, as well as a meeting with Lord Richard Risby, the Special Envoy of the British Prime Minister tasked with boosting economic partnership with Algeria. On another note, Minister Ahmed Attaf is expected to deliver a lecture at the British Institute of Chatham House regarding the situation in the Sahel region and Algeria’s role in promoting security, stability, and economic development in this neighboring area.
