Algeria’s National Social Insurance Fund for Non-Wage Workers has launched a major awareness campaign targeting the agricultural sector under the slogan “Himayati 5.0… Your Coverage with CASNOS”, aimed at informing farmers across the country about new digital services and social protection benefits available to them.
The campaign is part of the national media initiative promoting the Himayati 5.0 and Himayati+ platforms, designed to bring public administration closer to citizens and strengthen direct communication with farmers through practical guidance on how to access sustainable social coverage — entirely remotely and paperless.
The Fund’s regional director told dzwatch exclusively that the campaign seeks to highlight tailored digital services launched specifically for agricultural workers, presenting them as a tool that makes acquiring social coverage easier than ever — with zero travel required.
“As part of the ongoing digitization of the sector and our commitment to farmers, the Himayati 5.0 service was introduced to accompany farmers every step of the way,” she told dzwatch, underscoring Algeria’s push toward a fully digital, citizen-centered public service model.
