National Roadmap Aims for 20,000 Investment Projects
Algeria aims to realize 20,000 investment projects by 2029, a goal set within an executive roadmap designed to establish a national portfolio of mobilizable economic land. This comprehensive initiative aligns with presidential directives to stimulate national economic development.
The roadmap is structured around five principal axes to achieve its objectives. These include the completion of a nationwide census of economic land, the digitalization of its governance, and the legal regularization and recovery of land. Additionally, the plan focuses on the development of land and its connection to various essential networks, alongside the reinforcement of governance, steering, and intersectoral coordination.
Recent governmental action underscores the progress of this effort. Prime Minister Seif Ghrib chaired a meeting that reviewed the advancement of the economic land census, which is a core component of the roadmap to facilitate the achievement of the 20,000 investment projects goal.
