“Beautiful Country” Algeria Lauded by Former US Diplomat

Paul Wulfsberg, a former US diplomat who served as spokesperson at the US Embassy in Algiers and is known on social media as "Khaled Al-Amriki," recently shared positive remarks about Algeria. In a new video filmed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he now works, Wulfsberg discussed Algeria's attributes, including its vastness and regional diversity. The video was shared on his Facebook page, captioned "Khaled Al-Amriki talks about Algeria during his presence with Sheikh Khalid Bin Muhaya in Riyadh."

During his remarks to Saudi interlocutors, Wulfsberg highlighted Algeria's immense area, referring to it as "the country-continent" and noting its vastness, to the extent that Algiers, the capital, is geographically closer to Paris than to the country's southern regions, which are approximately a three-hour flight away. He also focused on the territorial diversity, explaining that various regions in Algeria are distinct in their landscapes, cultures, and traditions. He illustrated this richness by citing Constantine, known as "the city of suspended bridges," and Oran, described as "the city overlooking the Mediterranean."

Wulfsberg concluded his commentary by stating, "It's really a beautiful country, a must-visit." These appreciative statements are part of a broader pattern; "Khaled Al-Amriki" regularly publishes content dedicated to Algeria on his social media platforms.
