Domestic Airlines, an Algerian carrier and subsidiary of Air Algérie, marked a notable expansion of its operations with a Boeing 737 flight to Nice, France. On August 21, 2026, one of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft, bearing the full Domestic Airlines livery, was observed at Nice airport completing an Alger-Nice-Alger rotation. This operation, carried out on behalf of Air Algérie, signifies an extension of Domestic Airlines' activities beyond its primary focus on the Algerian internal network.

The specialized media outlet Gate7 reported this development, noting that Domestic Airlines was established on the foundation of Tassili Airlines. The company is in the process of reorganizing its inherited fleet, with plans to integrate all former Boeing 737-800s from Tassili Airlines into its current operations. Complementing this, Domestic Airlines has recently enhanced its capacity with the delivery of a new ATR 72-600, while continuing to utilize its four Dash 8-400 aircraft for domestic routes.
