APN President Boufadagh, Austrian Envoy Discuss Enhanced Cooperation

Khalida Boufadagh, President of the National People's Assembly, received Austrian Ambassador Wolfgang Spadinger in Algiers on Sunday. Deputy Speaker Moundhir Boudan was also present at the meeting. The discussions focused on exploring avenues for enhancing and expanding Algerian-Austrian cooperation across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on parliamentary collaboration.
The meeting highlighted the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in bolstering bilateral relations and fostering closer ties between Algeria and Austria. Both parties affirmed the need to establish parliamentary friendship groups and increase the exchange of visits and expertise between parliamentarians from both nations, aiming to improve communication among deputies.
Officials also stressed the significance of intensifying consultations and exchanging viewpoints on issues of common interest. Additionally, they emphasized the coordination of positions in various international parliamentary forums. These efforts are intended to serve shared interests and advance relations between Algeria and Austria through enhanced cooperation and coordination between their respective legislative institutions.
