Agra-2026 Fair Features Algeria as Guest of Honor

Algeria's presence at the "Agra-2026" International Agricultural and Food Fair in the Republic of Slovenia is now in its second day, with the nation holding the esteemed status of guest of honor. This participation is part of a concerted effort to enhance the global footprint of Algerian products and showcase their inherent export capabilities. The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion is coordinating Algeria's delegation, which includes 19 economic operators representing diverse sectors with significant export potential.
Since the fair's commencement, the Algerian pavilion has experienced notable interest from visitors, industry professionals, and various economic operators. Attendees have shown particular interest in the quality, diversity, and competitive viability of the Algerian products on display. This platform serves as a vital opportunity to foster stronger communication between Algerian businesses and their international counterparts, while also exploring new avenues for trade cooperation and strategic partnerships.
The ongoing participation at Agra-2026 aligns with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion's broader strategy to champion Algerian products, open new markets, and assist national economic operators in accessing the international marketplace. This strategic engagement is designed to bolster and diversify Algeria's non-hydrocarbon exports, leveraging international events to enhance the image of Algerian goods among foreign partners and translate fair participation into concrete partnerships, trade agreements, and new market access for Algerian enterprises.
