The President of the National Independent Electoral Authority, Mohamed Charfi, has announced the final deadline for submitting subscription forms and candidacy files for those wishing to run in the upcoming presidential elections.
In a press conference held on Saturday, Charfi stated that the deadline for submitting subscription forms is July 18, 2024, at midnight.
Charfi added that the Independent Electoral Authority will review the candidacy files from July 18 until July 27, 2024.
The final list of approved presidential candidates will be announced by the Independent Electoral Authority on July 27, 2024. The Constitutional Court will make the final decision on the files on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
