Minister of Transport, Youssef Sharafah, presented on Thursday, during a government council meeting, a draft executive decree outlining the establishment of the Supreme Authority for Ports, specifying its tasks, organization, and operation.
According to the meeting’s proceedings statement, the project falls within the framework of implementing the instructions of the President regarding the establishment of an effective port authority to be placed under the supervision of a governor or equivalent.
