Algerian Agriculture Minister Embarks on Working Visit to Russia to Bolster Economic and Scientific Cooperation

Mohammed Abdelhafid Hani, Algeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, is leading a multi-sectoral delegation on a working visit to Russia. Scheduled for October 25-26, the visit aims to strengthen the bilateral relations between Algeria and Russia in various spheres including economic, scientific, and technological cooperation.

According to an official statement from the Ministry of Agriculture, Minister Hani will co-chair the 11th session of the Algeria-Russia Joint Governmental Committee in Moscow. He will be joined by his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Patrushev, as they review the progress and future prospects of the existing cooperation frameworks between the two nations.

The discussions are set to focus on a range of collaboration dossiers, from trade and economic development to scientific and technical advancements. The meetings will serve as a platform for Minister Hani to hold talks not only with Minister Patrushev but also with other high-ranking Russian officials.
