Chery Automobile, a renowned Chinese car brand, has officially made its debut in Algeria, emphasizing the need for affordable pricing and dedicated after-sales service for Algerian citizens. Industry and Pharmaceuticals Minister Ali Aoun highlighted these points during a meeting with Chery’s General Manager for Africa, Steve Shan, and Ayman Cherrit, Manager of Chery in Algeria, Adel Attia.

Minister Aoun also insisted on compliance with the specifications manual, which stipulates the customer’s right to purchase a vehicle. The conversation also covered Chery’s manufacturing project in Bordj Bou Arreridj province, aiming to produce 24,000 cars annually and aspiring to reach 100,000 cars by the third year, along with establishing an export platform in Algeria.

It’s noteworthy that today, Thursday, most models to be marketed in Algeria and the distribution network, initially covering 30 provinces, will be presented.
