Algeria Sends 25,000 Copies of the Holy Quran to the Grand Mosque of Paris

Algeria has sent 25,000 copies of the Holy Quran to the Grand Mosque of Paris, as part of an initiative aimed at serving the Algerian and Muslim community in France.

The operation reflects Algeria’s continued commitment to supporting its national community abroad and strengthening its cultural and religious ties with Algerians living in different countries.

In a post published on her Facebook account, Minister of Culture and Arts Malika Bendouda thanked the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for his instruction to print the Holy Quran every year. She also expressed her appreciation for the President’s decision to entrust Algerian printing houses with this mission, describing it as both a responsibility and an honor.

The minister stressed that the Ministry of Culture and Arts has, for several years, remained committed to producing the Holy Quran with high standards of quality and presentation. She said this achievement should also be seen as a tribute to the workers and technicians of the National Enterprise of Graphic Arts.

According to Bendouda, these teams have worked for years to improve the printing of the Holy Quran according to the Warsh recitation, as well as the Algerian edition of the Quran. Their efforts have helped give the printed copies a distinguished form and a competitive level of quality.

The minister also renewed the commitment of the Ministry of Culture and Arts to continue meeting requests for high-quality printing, particularly those related to the Holy Quran.

She added that similar operations are expected to be completed for the benefit of the Algerian community in several Western countries, confirming Algeria’s willingness to maintain strong links with its citizens abroad through cultural and religious initiatives.
