President Tebboune’s Agenda at the G7 Summit

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune is participating today, Friday, in the G7 Summit for the world’s leading industrial nations, held in Bari, Italy, from June 13 to 15.

Upon his arrival at his residence in Bari, President Tebboune began meeting with several of his counterparts. On Thursday, he met with French President Emmanuel Macron, and this morning, he welcomed Kenyan President William Ruto.

President Tebboune’s intensive schedule continues today as he is set to deliver a speech to the attendees, including heads of participating states, the UN Secretary-General, and officials from various international organizations. In his speech, he will address significant issues concerning Algeria and the region.

The summit participants will discuss several important topics related to Africa, the Mediterranean region, and the situation in Gaza, Palestine. The discussions will also cover climate change, artificial intelligence, migration, and the development of Africa, along with pressing security concerns.

On the sidelines of the summit, President Tebboune is expected to hold several bilateral meetings with his counterparts from leading world nations to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation.
