Rabeika Participates in Historical Conference Marking the 60th Anniversary of Mozambique’s Liberation War

Algiers – On Monday, Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laid Rabeika, participated in a historical conference via video conference, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of Mozambique’s Liberation War, according to a statement from the ministry.

In his address during the conference, organized by Mozambique’s National Liberation Struggle Research Institute, the minister emphasized the importance of such shared events. He highlighted how they contribute to building a collective awareness of the significance of cooperation and solidarity, reflecting the deep historical ties and fostering a sense of citizenship, patriotism, and love for one’s country.

The conference featured notable participants, including freedom fighters such as the President of the International Association of Friends of the Revolution, Noureddine Djoudi, veteran Soudja Abbas, and former diplomat Mohamed Kheladi.

The ministry’s statement noted that this participation strengthens bilateral cooperation and reaffirms the fraternal bonds between the two nations. It also serves to document Algeria’s support for liberation movements in Mozambique, particularly through its contribution to training Mozambican military personnel.
