The 57th final of the Algerian Cup 2024 football match, scheduled for next Friday between MC Algiers and CR Belouizdad at the Olympic Stadium on July 5 at 17:00, will utilize Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology.
The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) announced on its official website that it has sent a detailed memo to both clubs to ensure proper preparation for this significant event.
In this context, a technical meeting was organized last Wednesday at the FAF headquarters, with the participation of all relevant parties. During this final match, VAR technology will be implemented.
Lahcene Tombouctou, the Chairman of the Algerian Cup Committee, presented a report on the ongoing preparations for the “Lady of the Cup” final during a meeting of the FAF Federal Bureau, extended to national leagues, held last Wednesday at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa, attended by FAF President Walid Sadi.
