Ministry of Youth Crowns Solar Eclipse Photo Contest Winner

The Ministry of Youth today announced the winner of its national digital interaction contest, which encouraged participants across Algeria to document the solar eclipse. Launched through the Ministry's official page, the initiative aimed to engage youth in capturing the astronomical phenomenon through photography.

Menajlia Abdelbasset, who serves as the Head of Animation, Communication, and Associative Life Service at the Office of Youth Institutions for Souk Ahras province, secured the top spot. His photograph garnered the highest level of interaction and likes from followers, distinguishing it among the submissions. The winning image was captured in the El Fheis area, located near the municipality of Ain Ezana, at 19:22 on the day of the eclipse.

The Ministry extended its congratulations to Mr. Abdelbasset for his success. Furthermore, it expressed gratitude and appreciation to all individuals who participated in the contest, acknowledging their contributions to documenting the celestial event and sharing their photographs via the official platform.
